What will be needed?

- Color oxide - I have pink
- Or an essential oil for fragrance - in my case it was tangerine

How to do it?

In a water bath, dissolve the base - 12 parts jojoba wax, 15 parts carrot oil and 6 parts avocado butter (of course, the proportions are a bit weird again, it's because of the proportions of the loose ingredients). All ratios given are quantitative, not weight.

Once the mixture is homogeneous, set it aside and mix in the loose ingredients. Here you can improvise, it depends on what and how saturated you want the resulting shade; in my case it was 8 parts clay, 2 parts mica powder and 6 parts colored oxide (colored and ZnO combined). Finally, you can also add EO; mix everything thoroughly, especially the ZnO is good to mix beforehand in a miniature amount of oil, it will be easier to work it in without lumps.

Pour the finished mixture, which should already be quite thick, into the prepared bowls. Wait for the mixture to harden and you're done!

If you're not a blush person but prefer bronzer, go for cocoa instead of clay and add bronze mica powder; you can also mix light or dark contouring products. I'm completely incapable of both, so I'll continue to be a pink girl.

The blusher does not clog pores and holds quite well (especially if you powder it, which I'm usually too lazy to do). Clay heals the skin, fatty components prevent drying, and ZnO contributes to the antiseptic nature of the entire product. The color can be layered quite well. Thanks to carrot oil and ZnO, it also contains some basic SPF.

You often ask me about substituting ingredients (butter for butter, wax for wax), which is possible in most cases, but here I would use only mango or olive butter instead of avocado butter - they are similarly soft, maybe just almond instead of jojoba wax - otherwise I would the consistency was not that easy to spread.

Of course, the blush can also be used quite well as an eye shadow or lip tint.
