  • In the foothills of the Himalayas, on fertile soil and with a favorable climate, quality and tasty long-grain RANA basmati rice is grown. Basmati rice has a typical light nutty aroma and a delicate taste. Its preparation is quick and easy.
  • The word Basmati literally means "queen of fragrances" in Hindi. It has a really unique nutty smell caused by the 2AP ketone. By removing the outer skin and polishing, the grains acquire their typical white color. It is naturally gluten-free and easy to digest. It also contains a minimum of sugar, so it is also suitable for diets.
  • It is a sought-after food by supporters of healthy nutrition and athletes. Basmati rice is stored for two years to get rid of all the water. Therefore, cooked rice does not stick and is beautifully loose. It goes well with Indian spicy dishes, but also for preparing risotto or as a side dish to meat and fish dishes of European cuisine.

  • Instructions for use

    • Wash one part of Basmati rice in water, add 2 parts of water and salt (to your taste) to the pot. Bring to a boil, then transfer to the smallest hotplate, where you let the rice bubble slowly for about 12 to 15 minutes. Let the rice rest for a while, do not open the lid, because the intensity of the aroma will decrease, and fluff it with a fork before serving.
