Characteristics

• Volcanic sand consists of very fine rock and mineral particles less than 2 mm in diameter that are ejected by a volcano.
• It is formed when solid rock is fractured and magma splits into tiny particles during explosive volcanic activity.
• Raw material for cosmetic production.

Use

• Gray abrasive of volcanic origin (usually 2 to 20% in a cream or gel base).

Notice

• It does not dissolve in water, often smells of sulfur.
