Characteristics

• It has excellent compatibility with active ingredients and can be used in a wide pH range and in emulsions with high temperature stability.
• Self-emulsifying palm oil wax that gives creams and lotions a softening and creamy appearance.

Use

• Glyceryl Stearate and PEG-100 Stearate is a nonionic emulsifier for oil-in-water cream formulations. Typical dosage is between 3 and 10%.
• It is often used with cetearyl alcohol (as a thickener) in formulations. Added to the oil phase of formulations.
• Increases the ability of emulsions to absorb other ingredients such as essential oils and dyes.
• Heat the emulsifier up to 60c - 70c, until fully dissolved.

Dosage

• 0 - 6% (up to 25% for hair products)
• Maximum utilization level 25%
