Description

What will be needed?

- 80 grams of coconut oil (depending on the quality of the ointment, you can use refined or virgin)

- 40 grams of beeswax

- About 15 drops of camphor essential oil

- About 15 drops of peppermint essential oil

- About 28 drops of Cajeput essential oil

- About 12 drops of clove essential oil

How to do it?

Melt the wax and coconut oil over low heat. When melted, remove from heat, cool and stir in essential oils. Fill a bowl and put it in the fridge, in about 20 minutes the mastic will harden. If it is too soft for your needs, melt it and mix in more beeswax, if it is too hard, mix in coconut oil. Therefore, even if the essential oils can evaporate a little by melting them, it is better to add a little more, or leave the salve as it is and modify it either by adding coconut or wax during the next batch.

For asthmatics, it is advisable to replace cloves with chamomile, to warm the joints, use Benzoin Siam and cinnamon.
