The phospholipids are dispersed in a biomimetic fractionated soybean extract that allows the product to be easily incorporated into the lipophilic environment of a traditional lip product. However, after application to the lips, phospholipids naturally try to migrate to the more hydrophilic environment of the inside of the lips. In a hydrophilic environment, phospholipids naturally assemble into a multi-vesicular system that swells and gives the appearance of increased volume to the lips.
