How do its repellent properties work?

• The protection is twofold - firstly, the active substance Citrepel 75 effectively repels insects, and secondly, the repellent camouflages your kairomones.
• What are kairomones? Just as people are attracted to each other by pheromones, insects are attracted to their hosts by substances called kairomones. These can be different and the body excretes them according to how fast your metabolism is. The more active you are, the more attractive you are to mosquitoes. Female mosquitoes are able to detect kairomones at a distance of up to one kilometer.
