Description

Do you also sometimes feel that no matter how you lubricate, your skin still doesn't have enough? So give her an extra portion of love and make a body butter with us that can handle much more than an ordinary cream or milk.

Why butter?

The body butter thoroughly nourishes the body skin and leaves it velvety soft. It combines a combination of dense vegetable butters, containing a lot of beneficial substances, and rare oils that provide the skin with the necessary care. Body butter is irreplaceable after a bath, especially after shaving, for the treatment of dry elbows and cracked heels, and it also works great instead of hand cream.

Without conservants

One of the many reasons we love body butters so much is that they don't need to be added preservatives. Still, it lasts more than half a year. How is it possible? In their composition, you won't find water, which, for example, ensures a light and easy-to-spread structure in creams, but it is necessary to preserve the product because of it. But whipped body butters are applied to the skin just as well as creams or milks, don't expect any thick ointment that you will have to work into the skin for half an evening. Thanks to the whipping, air gets into the fat in the butter, which facilitates the application of the product and accelerates its absorption into the skin.

No greasy feeling

As we already said, body butters are great fighters against dry skin. Which means that they are usually also really greasy. In the evening before going to bed, oily skin usually does not bother any of us, but in the morning or during the day, oiliness can really annoy us. We therefore decided to create such a body butter that perfectly hydrates and nourishes the skin, but at the same time it is quickly absorbed and does not leave the previously mentioned greasy feeling on the skin. Succeeded!

Body butter against stretch marks and eczema

The basis of this cosmetic miracle is the invincible shea butter, which is highly rich in vitamin E and unsaponifiable substances, super-nourishing mango butter with excellent moisturizing effects, versatile virgin coconut oil and emollient cocoa butter, which significantly supports skin elasticity and smells wonderful.

Green tea is considered one of the healthiest drinks we can give our body. But did you know that it is also excellent for our skin and hair? So enjoy it in a cup of delicious tea, but also in home cosmetics. You can add it to a cream, but you can also use it as a facial mask or an effective toner. Because green tea contains a high amount of natural antioxidants, it fights extremely well against skin aging and protects it from free radicals and damage.

Our favorite moringa is literally loaded with vitamins and antioxidants, and will enhance the effects of green tea even more. It also has an antibacterial effect, so it can deal with various rashes or body acne. (You can read what else this green plant can do here).

To all this, we added fine cold-pressed poppy seed oil, which instantly regenerates, brightens and fights stretch marks, and we conjured up the ideal helper against dry, stressed skin, which strengthens, nourishes, hydrates the skin, and even copes with eczema and signs of skin aging. And it's worth it, isn't it? :)

How to do it?

First, we will make an herbal infusion, although it will take about an hour, but the worry is minimal and it is definitely worth it. Prepare a water bath and heat coconut oil in a heat-resistant bowl and pour green tea and moringa into it. Mix so that all the herbs are immersed in the oil and let the water bubble in the bath at a low temperature for at least an hour. (If you have time, feel free to let the herbs macerate in the oil for longer, perhaps a few days in the sun, covered). Stir occasionally and check that all the water has evaporated. Do not overheat the oil, we do not want to lose the valuable properties of green tea, moringa and the oil itself. Then, using fine cheesecloth or a clean tissue, strain the oil so that no herbs float in it.

Reheat the strained coconut oil in a water bath, add shea butter, cocoa butter and mango butter and let everything melt slowly. When everything is liquid, remove from the water bath, let it cool for a few minutes, mix in the white poppy seed oil, essential oils and kaolin and transfer the prepared mixture to the refrigerator. Wait until it is almost solid.

Take the cooled butter out of the fridge and use a whisk or mixer to whip it well. You can tell when it's ready by the color of the butter, it should be beautifully white. Shove the whipped body butter into nice resealable jars and that's it!

Spread the butter on the skin of the whole body as desired. For best results, gently moisten the skin before use. If you are going to keep the butter in the bathroom near water or scoop it with wet hands, add 1/2 teaspoon of vitamin E to the recipe, it will prevent any rancidity.

And if you don't like green tea or moringa, but you would still like to lubricate yourself with butter, try our chocolate body butter or one of the solid body creams.
