Description

Let yourself be pampered with a beneficial treatment full of Ayurvedic herbs, specially combined for a warm shade of soft black velvet. This isn't just color. It is a healing ritual that will give your hair unprecedented care. Shiny, strong, healthy inside and out. This is how your hair will be when you connect it with nature instead of artificial and chemical products.

Why did we choose Radico colors for you?

All ingredients are BIO quality - Cosmos Organic and Organic India certificates. They also cover gray hair well. They nourish the hair from the inside and prevent breakage. It acts as a beneficial treatment - leaving the hair strong, shiny and healthy. They have a wide range of color shades, which you can also mix with each other. Each color shade is carefully created with a unique combination of 10-12 herbs. Easy preparation and application - ideal for home use. They are vegan friendly (Vegan Society certificate) - no animal testing, no animal ingredients.

What is it about the harmfulness of hair dyeing?

Radico colors are based on the realization that hair coloring is an integral part of many women's lives. Along with chemical colors, they also get a load of harmful substances into their bodies, such as PPD, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, resorcinol, parabens and many other substances. These very often cause not only external skin allergic reactions, but also irritation of the entire organism.

Although the hair acquires the desired shade, it increasingly loses its quality. They break, are weak and tired. However, harmful substances penetrate through the scalp to the inside of our body, where they can leave an even bigger patch than on the hair itself.

The fact that a color is called "natural" does not mean that it is really completely pure. We recommend always thoroughly checking the composition, which should consist of 100% only natural raw materials - plants.

What is the difference between natural and chemical hair dyes?

Have you ever wondered how it is practically possible to even radically change your natural hair color? It is basically a chemical reaction where the color must penetrate inside the hair and change - disrupt its natural structure. You can easily become a blonde from a brunette, but your hair will most likely take a toll on its health.

Natural colors cannot do this. It won't change your color by several shades. This is simply because, unlike chemical dyes, they do not penetrate the structure of the hair, but coat it from the outside. It creates a tiny layer of color around it, which gradually increases with repeated use. The resulting color therefore depends a lot on your natural hair color, its health and properties. Like nature itself, natural dyeing is actually a kind of alchemy. We are all unique and therefore the dye powder from plants will react a little differently on each of us.

But the essential difference is that the 100% natural color does not damage the hair in any way and can be used absolutely unlimited. On the contrary, it has very beneficial effects and, in addition to the coloring effect, it also has the effect of an effective cure. Hair will be stronger, more nourished, shinier and softer to the touch.

How to use color correctly?

  • 20-30g powder for short hair, 40-60g powder for shoulder length hair, 70-100g powder for long hair
  • Mix the optimal amount of powder with hot water in a ratio of 1:3 (1 part powder to 3 parts water). Operatively, you can add water or powder to achieve a consistency similar to yogurt or ketchup. The mixture must not be too thick or too thin.
  • Always apply the color to freshly washed and dry hair. Start the application at the roots of the hair and proceed along the entire length of the hair. Always apply the paint immediately after mixing. It shouldn't be completely hot (so you don't burn your scalp), but certainly the warmer it gets on the hair, the better. For gray hair, a slightly larger application of color should be used.
  • After application, cover the hair with the attached cap and cover it with a towel or a winter cap on top. They need to stay warm as much as possible. For the duration of the action, it is also possible to use heat, for example from a hair dryer, to enhance the effect.
  • Leave the color on for at least 60 minutes. If you want to achieve a darker shade or cover gray hair, we recommend a longer exposure time. The color can be on the hair for 2-3 hours. Since it is only plants, you don't have to worry about your hair.
  • After the required exposure time, wash off the paint under warm running water until the water is clear and discolored. No need to use shampoo or other products. The color will take care of the hair itself. Next, dry or style your hair as usual.
  • The color lasts 2-3 weeks on average. With long-term staining, the time increases.
  • Tips and important information for coloring: The color effectively covers grays right from the first application. However, keep in mind that the resulting shade may be slightly lighter than pigmented hair. The color palette in the product gallery serves as an illustration. If you have a lot of gray or white hair, it is recommended to do two rounds of color application 24 hours apart.
  • Consider that the color is purely natural. So if you want to achieve changes to your natural hair shade, a little patience is needed. The shade really starts to change after the few applications. The color does not penetrate the hair structure, but forms a thin coating around the hair. The thicker the cover, the more pronounced the resulting shade. For example, if you have dark brown hair and want to achieve a burgundy shade, at first you may only see reddish highlights. After several repetitions, the burgundy shade will become more pronounced. Expect the color to develop a few days after application. More precisely, to darken. So wait at least 3 days, when the shade will be final.
  • If you have previously dyed your hair with chemical dyes, expect that it may take a while to achieve the desired shade with Radico dye. Nature can handle chemistry, but it takes time. You can start with 2-3 applications in a row within 24 hours. Keep in mind that the resulting color always depends on your natural hair color as well.
