The Greatest Candle in the World brings an extremely original concept - easily and quickly create your own amazingly scented candle at home from used (or new) cooking oil. Creating a beautiful and romantic atmosphere at home will be a piece of cake.

A piquant, spicy, but at the same time sweet scent is hidden in this candle. Its original and unusual aroma will charm you and at the same time create a very cozy atmosphere in every living room or office.

The set contains: 5 bags of Oil2Wax fragrance powder of 20 g each, which is enough to make 5 candles of 110 g each, 10 candles of 50 g each or 20 candles of 25 g each. The set also includes 5 wicks, 5 wick holders and instructions.

It smells absolutely fantastic. The first time we unpacked it, we completely melted. The Greatest Candle candles certainly have the most pleasant and at the same time pleasantly expressive scents of all that we have had the opportunity to try so far.

How to make your own candle at home

It is extremely easy and you will have a candle ready in literally a few minutes.

You take any cooking vegetable oil (ideally already used, but you can also use new), mix it with Oil2Wax fragrance powder and put it in the microwave for a minute. Then pour it into a suitable container.

Then all you have to do is place a cotton wick in the candle with the help of a holder (both are included in the package) and hooray for scenting your home with the element of fire.

One candle with a burning time of 30 hours needs 100 ml of oil and 20 grams of Oil2Wax powder.

After cooking (baking or frying), remove any impurities (water, food residues) from the oil. It is ideal to use a coffee filter or fine strainer to strain the oil through. Store the oil purified in this way in a well-sealed, resealable container.

If you use canned oil (for example from tuna), let it stand for 24 hours before filtering it. Within 24 hours, the water will remain on the bottom and the grease on the surface. Insufficiently purified oil can cause your candle to not smell and burn as long as it should. We therefore recommend following the procedure.

How to store candles?

Do not leave candles in direct sunlight. Store them in areas where the temperature varies between 0 - 24 °C.

Candle jars are usually made of glass, so store them in a safe place. Before you start using the candle, we recommend leaving it closed in the box. This will extend its lifespan.

This is how the name of the brand The Greatest Candle in the World sounds in translation. A bold claim? Yes, but there is a good reason for it.

They are quite possibly the most ecological natural candles ever. The idea behind the whole concept is to recycle used vegetable oils to prevent contamination of water and soil.

All ready-made candles are made mainly from olive and sunflower oil, which the manufacturer collects in restaurants. And if you buy a kit for home production, it's up to you which oil you use - new or used or a combination of both.

You can use the cooking oil twice. Thanks to this, The Greatest Candle candles are very affordable despite their high quality. A pleasant bonus is that all the materials used for the candles themselves and their packaging come from Portugal, with the exception of the fragrances, which are from France.
