• When creating a matte eyeshadow, add another eyeshadow color along with a similar base color, such as green oxide. This will create a highlighting effect.
• A subtle two-tone effect can be created by adding a completely different color.
• Experiment with interference pigments to find out exactly which base colors bring out the best.
